Katie Avebe, Mary Bernardi, Chris Henry and Andy Theodorou officially founded Chris Henry & Royal Family Productions, Inc. in August 2007 after producing multiple shows together unofficially. NYC producing credits include, "Nobody Suspects A Butterfly" (Theater For The New City), “Nobody Suspects A Butterfly” (American Theatre of Actors), “Glory and the Juniper Queen” (Symphony Space), “Painted Ladies” (Symphony Space), “Shirley at the Tropicana” (American Theatre of Actors), and “Your Mom's Feet” (Women’s Interart Annex).

Chris Henry, Producer & Artistic Director
Chris Henry is an award-winning professional theatre director in New York City. Over the past 18 years she has developed after-school and theatre programs all over the country. Most recently, Henry co-founded Chris Henry & Royal Family Productions, Inc., a non-profit Theatre Company whose mission is to make theatre as accessible and more enjoyable than television. Katie Avebe, Associate Artistic Director, Executive Vice President
Katie oversees Fundraising and Marketing for RFP as well as being the Educational Coordinator for the Afterschool division of the company. Since moving to New York City in 2003, Katie started working with Chris Henry in theater and shortly thereafter, met Mary and Andy. Katie is an additional writer and dramaturg on RFP's current original work, "Nobody Suspects A Butterfly." Katie graduated with her B.S. in Film and Television from Boston University with a concentration in education. She currently lives in West Hartford, CT with her husband, son and has a daughter on the way.
