WILSON CRUZ (Charlie) Award-winning Actor, Producer, Activist, “Actorvist,” and Humanitarian. Cruz recently starred as Dr. Hugh Culber on the Award-winning Paramount+ series Star Trek: Discovery and the Netflix film MOTHER OF THE BRIDE, starring Benjamin Bratt and Brooke Shields. He appeared on the Netflix series Thirteen Reasons Why, in Hulu’s 2020 GLAAD Award- Winning original animated kids’ series The Bravest Knight , and played Rickie Vasquez on My So-Called Life . He is also the Executive Producer of the critically acclaimed docuseries called Visible: Out on Television airing on Apple TV+ that investigates the importance of TV as an intimate medium that has shaped the American conscience, and how the LGBTQ movement has shaped television. He received GLAAD’s Vito Russo Award in 2022. Wilson was recently named Board Chair of GLSEN, the nation’s largest organization championing LGBTQ+ issues in K-12 education.
LAURA ALLEN (Marla) is an actress and writer who grew up on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Major roles on television include Sundance's Hap and Leonard (2016), NBC's Chicago Fire, FX's Terriers (2010) and Dirt (2007), as well as USA Network's The 4400 (2004) where she portrayed Lily Tyler opposite Mahershala Ali. She has had recurring roles on Fox's 9-1-1 (2018), Suits (2011), American Horror Story (2011), Grey's Anatomy (2005), and Apple+TV's Truth Be Told (2019) with Octavia Spencer. Features include HBO's Emmy-nominated The Tale (2018) starring Laura Dern and Ellen Burstyn directed by Jennifer Fox. Allen played the lead in the horror film Clown (2014) directed by Jon Watts. Other features include Old Dogs (2009) opposite Robin Williams and John Travolta, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003) directed by Mike Newell. Laura lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons.
HARPER WEYMAN (Jonah) is in his final semester at high school, and is overjoyed to be performing for Royal Family! Living in California, he hopes to pursue acting professionally. Outside the stage and behind the scenes, Harper is a firm Christian, and spends a lot of his time playing guitar, weightlifting, and reading lots of Shakespeare! He would personally like to thank one of his co-stars, his mother, for planting his love for performing at a young age, and supporting him tirelessly on this journey.
RACHEL AMBROSE (she/her) is a multifaceted artist born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated summa cum laude from Montclair State University with a BFA in Dance and minor in Musical Theatre. CHRISTINA CLAIRE BROWN (she/her) is an NYC based performer & educator. CONNOR BURNS hails from Lakewood, CO and is a recent graduate from NYU Steinhardt's Vocal Performance Program. Regional credits include Billy Bigelow in "Carousel" and an upcoming run as Joe Hardy in "Damn Yankees" (The Ohio Light Opera). In NYC, Connor has worked with Ted Sperling's Master Voices choral ensemble in various capacities, including as a chorister and rehearsal cover. He is an in-demand church choral singer and cantor throughout Brooklyn and Queens. This is his first production with Royal Family!
SABRINA CARLIER (she/her) is an actor, director, and theatrical multi-hyphenate. Recent credits: Avdotya & Anna in THE INSPECTOR GENERAL (Savage Wonder Art Center), Shirley in WAITING FOR GREYHOUND (New York Theater Festival), B/Callie in LOST GIRL (Viscera Theatre Collective), 10(Bobbie James) in CONCORD FLORAL (Atlantic Acting School/dir. Emily Hartford), Nick Bottom in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Atlantic Acting School/dir. Montgomery Sutton), and The Town Crier in GREENHOUSE (The Elif Collective), where she also serves as Associate Artistic Director. TANNER HODSON (they/them) Born and raised in Nebraska, Tanner first took the stage at 9 years old! They are now a multifaceted artist who has worked and performed in over 19 countries across 5 continents. Tanner studied Performance Art in SoCal and, since moving to NYC, has performed Off-Broadway in productions like Dune! The Dunesical and Ramavaan: A Musical. You can also catch Tanner on screen in Netflix’s Black Rabbit, Amazon’s Etoile, and Francis Han’s Fading Away.
OTHANIA JOHNSON (she/her) is a Bronx-born artist whose passion for theater began under the guidance of Christine Henry, where she first stepped into the spotlight as Juliet in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. In addition to her work on stage, Othania is a music artist and songwriter, using her voice and lyrics to connect deeply with her audience. As a dedicated mother, she draws inspiration from her life experiences, channeling them into her creative pursuits with purpose and authenticity. A dynamic creative, she has expanded her artistry into dance—including pole dancing—bringing strength, expression, and storytelling to every movement. With unwavering ambition, Othania aspires to become one of the world’s greatest entertainers.
SARA BETH KNIGHT is thrilled to make her Royal Family debut in The Language He Called God! Some of her favorite past credits include A Charlie Brown Christmas (Zach Theatre), Sugar: the Some Like it Hot Musical (Starlight Mountain Theatre), and numerous theme park shows at Hersheypark and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. MAGGIE LANGHORNE is thrilled to be back at Royal Family, working on a new play. With Royal Family, she was recently seen in Navalny and Eddie and Anne of Green Gables: Finding Home. Other recent NYC credits include Grazia in Death Takes a Holiday, Petra in A Little Night Music, and Denise in The Baker's Wife, and she will next be seen as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd in May. Maggie regularly performs with The Ohio Light Opera and Royal Family Productions, and has also worked with Scenic City Shakespeare, The Blue Hill Troupe, Victor Herbert Renaissance Project, Oberlin Opera Theatre, and the College Light Opera Company. When not on stage, Maggie loves teaching and collaborating with other actors and singers as a director, intimacy coordinator, and vocal coach. Her hobbies include overanalyzing media, petting all the dogs, cooking up new recipes (typically sans priest), and spending time with her wonderful husband Mark and their little black cat, Kiki. ADRIAN MIRANDA returns to Royal Family Productions for his second production, having last appeared as Guillem Balagué in Pep, Messi, and Me (2025). A Manhattan native, Adrian has performed at The Heights Players in Brooklyn in roles including Bernardo (West Side Story), Gospeleer (Finian's Rainbow), Ensemble/Auditioner (A Chorus Line), and Pinball Wizard (Tommy). Offstage, Adrian is the founder and organizer of Uptown Actors, and wrote and directed the one-act play Uptown Books (2025). He is a proud member of HOLA, and serves as Clinic Manager at FlySpace PT, where he supports Broadway shows and performers.
EMILIJA PAVLOVSKA (she/her), a performer originally from Latvia, is so grateful to be moving and creating with the immensely talented people involved as this play comes to life. Emilija is a recent graduate of the musical theatre program at Manhattan School of Music. Some of her past favorite credits include The Visit (Lenfest Center for the Arts), Good Luck in Space (a new musical by Kotis&Hollmann), Frozen in Concert (Disney Theatricals), and Pippin (Vanguard Theater Company). Last spring Emilija made her NYC cabaret debut with her solo cabaret PORTABLE ROOTS at Don’t Tell Mama. Thank you to everyone involved and everyone here to be a part of this creation. TAP RUDRA (he/him) is an actor, improv and sketch comedy performer, musician, and writer. A creative career is his life’s second act, after a long career in the corporate world in Texas that ended when he rediscovered his passions during Covid. Tap performs frequently in improv and sketch, and produces and hosts a regular variety show at The PIT NYC called “Tap and Friends Play the Hits”, which includes comedy and music from Tap and others. He's a member of the BoogieManja sketch collective where he performs in monthly shows at The Second City NYC. He also works on short films with two creative groups he's a part of, Shared Manifest Entertainment and Uptown Actors.
KERRI SAVAGE (Ensemble): Born and raised in Quincy, MA, Kerri Savage discovered a love of theatre early on at Diane Purdy's Children's Theater Workshop. After standout school performances -including Sister Margaretta in The Sound of Music and the Chief of Police in The Pirates of Penzance-she continued her training at Archbishop Williams High School and later Emerson College, where she explored roles ranging from musical comedy to a modern-day Othello. A lifelong music devotee and former radio-station favorite, she brings the same passion, curiosity, and heart to every role she plays. Kerri most recently returned to the stage as the mother of a clown family in “Faces” as part of New York Winter Fest.
CAROLINA ZANELLA (she / her) is a Brazilian actor, singer and creative based in New York City. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from The New School and attended AMDA. She is so excited to be a part of this project and hopes you enjoy it too!
MEGAN ZAMMIT (she/her) is an actor and stage manager from the Turks and Caicos Islands and Canada. She recently graduated from NYU Tisch’s Drama program where she completed her training at the Experimental Theatre Wing. ETHAN FEIL is a New York City based lighting designer from Washington, DC. His designs include Royal Family Productions’ Lunchtime Theater, Women on Fire: Fair is Foul, & Upta Camp, Ice Berg Productions’ Orion & The Goatman, Elegies: A Song Cycle, & Tarrytown, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, Joshua Piper’s Cafe Americano, Camille Simone Thomas’s Sweet Blood, The Tank’s Chloe Saves Christmas, Lola Studio’s The Norwegians, and more! His work has been featured in the Fresh Fruit Festival at Wild Project, NYC Fringe at the Chain, & The New York Theater Festival.
LARS JACOBSEN has composed music for several of Royal Family’s productions, including for the "Women on Fire" series, "Anne of Green Gables" Parts 1 & 2, "Marilla of Green Gables", "Love/Sick", "Fireside Theater", "Covid Sux: The Musical" and more. And he leads the Lars Jacobsen Trio.
ZOE GRIFFIN is a New York based Lighting Designer originally from Austin, Texas. She is a graduate of Pace University having earned a B.F.A in Production Design for the Stage and Screen. Her credits include; Lot’s Wife, The Colour Woman, The Women Have Something To Say (The Cell Theatre), Girls Online (The Tank) and Sunset, Eclipsed by Seagulls (A Tank Core Production), The Divine Dating Game (The Players Theatre).
MARK FALCONER is a theatre artist who acts, directs, and now writes! Mark’s favorite roles include Sunday in the Park with George (VLOG), She Loves Me (award won), A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine (award won), the NYC premiere of Arts or Crafts, Oklahoma, Godspell, and The Life. Mark's directorial credits include Allegro (APAC - associate director), Czestochowa Musical Chairs (NYC premiere), Ravel (NYC premiere), See What I Wanna See, Birds of Paradise, and The Cradle Will Rock. He has also produced and directed concerts of Oh, Brother!, Doonesbury, and Lovesong amongst others, at 54 Below. He is the Managing Director of Royal Family Productions. He is grateful to Chris for trusting him and to his wonderful wife Maggie for waking up so early in the morning for all the rehearsals.
LORNA VENTURA is a Director/Choreographer with a long list of credits from Broadway to film and television. Original Broadway productions include: Wicked, Grease, All Shook Up, Harlem Song, Nice Work If You Can Get It, and The Life, as an Original Cast Member or Associate Choreographer —In addition, her collaborations and relationships with elite directors such as George C. Wolfe, Joe Mantello, Kathleen Marshall, Charles Randolph Wright, Ruben Santiago Hudson and Billy Porter have allowed her to hone her craft and transition with grace into the Director/Choreographer’s seat.

Lorna is passionate about the continued development of Black Birding with Queen Esther at Women’s Project, and all the new development at Royal Family Productions where she serves as the Creative Director.
CHRIS HENRY is the Artistic Director of Royal Family. She is an award-winning theatre director and writer based in New York City.
