Without You

WRITTEN & PERFORMED BY ANTHONY RAPP / DIRECTED BY STEVE MALER

Anthony Rapp presents his turbulent journey through the convergence of two life-changing events: the early days of the musical Rent, including the untimely passing of Jonathan Larson, and the illness and death of his own mother. Based on his New York Times best-selling memoir and backed by a five-piece rock band, Rapp uses a mix of his original music, as well as songs by Larson and R.E.M. in a stunning one-man show about grief, hope, and triumph.

PERFORMANCES / SEPTEMBER 27th — OCTOBER 9th, 2010
WHAT THE PRESS HAD TO SAY

"… this tender reflection celebrates and mourns with equal conviction, even if its two halves are imperfectly balanced."

"He said he wanted “Without You,” a memoir of his mother’s death and his time in “Rent,” to show his life, “warts and all.”"

"Actor Anthony Rapp is back in the UK with a new show about life on stage and his mother’s death."
