presents

THE LARS JACOBSEN TRIO

 Live in Concert

May 17th at 6:30PM
at ROYAL FAMILY PERFORMING ARTS SPACE
in TIMES SQUARE
Lars Jacobsen: tenor & soprano saxophones
Gabe Shuford: keyboards
John Bollinger: drums
Proof of vaccination is required and audiences must be masked throughout the show.
Venue is non-ADA compliant in a landmarked building.

We've been so lucky to have Lars compose many of our shows- including RFP favorite Women on Fire: Stories from the Frontlines. He came up with an idea for a night of music as a Royal Family benefit. If you buy a ticket to the trio, you are supporting Royal Family- a $100 ticket is a $75 tax-donation for you, a $50 ticket is $25 you can claim for tax-deduction. (General admission is $25.) You get to see live music and also get a tax-deduction. I'm thrilled to bring his new music to you.

A message from artistic director, Chris Henry

Royal Family is committed to inclusion and anti-racism.  That commitment is reflected in the bold programming we undertake, the diverse artists with whom we partner, and the organizational ethos we embrace.

Still, we know we can do better, and that the time for action is long overdue.
